The Foundation for Excellence in Healthcare, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the awareness of health conditions promoted through nationally designated awareness events.
It is our goal to heighten general public's awareness of online medical information and promote excellence in healthcare.
The month of April 2009 is the designated awareness month for: Alcohol Awareness, Autism Awareness, Cancer Control, Child Abuse Prevention, Foot Health Month, Sexually Transmitted Disease, and Stress Awareness. April 2009 is also hosts World Health Day 2009 on April 7th with the theme of Save Lives - make hospitals safe in emergencies and YMCA Healthy Kids Day on April 18th. Celebrating People in Action is the theme for April 18th-25th National Volunteer Week for 2009
